The Rangers are very proud to be represented in this year’s charter baseball teams by Deakin Filko in the Marlins Little League and Tyler Strong in the Titans Senior League.

This is a great achievement by both players, with Deakin selected in the Marlins Development last year and working hard to make the Charter this year. Tyler has recovered from a horrible knee injury suffered during the rugby season to come back in time for baseball and has also been rewarded for his commitment and hard work with this selection. Congratulations to both players.

Our hearts also go out to Tim, Ben and Tyler Strong and their extended family, as whilst they received the good news of Tyler’s selection on Tuesday they were also mourning the sad loss of their father and grandfather Brian, losing his battle with prostate cancer on Monday. From the extended Rangers family we offer our sincere condolences.
